What we collect

When you call, text or book, we take your name, phone number, email address if you give one, and details about your dog: name, breed, weight, coat type, grooming history, temperament notes, and anything medical you have told us that affects how we handle it. If you have been before, we keep a record of the grooms we have done and what we found.

What we use it for

To book you, groom your dog safely, and get hold of you if something comes up mid-groom. Temperament and medical notes exist so the next session goes better than the last. If you have agreed to them, we may text occasional reminders when your dog is due; reply STOP at any time and they end.

Photos of your dog

We sometimes photograph grooms. We will ask before any photo of your dog is used anywhere public, and no is a perfectly fine answer that changes nothing about your booking. Photos you text us for quoting are used for that and nothing else.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing. The one exception: if your dog needs urgent veterinary attention while in our care, we will share what the vet needs to treat it.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to texts, we may text you about bookings, running late, your dog being ready, and reminders you have opted into. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of booking.

Your choices, security and changes

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you; ask us to correct or delete it and we will, unless we need to keep it for tax reasons. Records sit on access-controlled systems and are seen only by people who need them. No system is perfectly secure and we will not claim otherwise. Changes to this policy get posted here with a new date.
